My Roommate Is the Empress

The Empress of the Great Yao Dynasty is killed when rebels storm the palace, but her soul unexpectedly transmigrates into Su Nian, a recently graduated modern girl barely getting by with unpaid wages and a landlord who keeps making life impossible. Her seemingly ordinary roommate, Lu Fan, repeatedly steps in to rescue her. With an emperor's bearing, Su Nian faces the petty struggles of modern city life and slowly adapts. But their shared apartment was all part of his long-planned, tender pursuit. In the end, Su Nian finds her footing in modern life and falls into a mutual love with Lu Fan.
