The Attention-Seeking Daughter-in-Law

The elderly mother fainted in an alley while out grocery shopping, and Meiling and Dazhuang frantically searched for her after failing to reach her by phone. Meanwhile, the sister-in-law had her eye on the mother's money, hoping to use it to buy a house, and ordered Daqiang to go to the mother's home and take her bank card. After the mother was hospitalized, the older sister clashed with Meiling, accusing her of providing poor care, while the sister-in-law kept stirring the pot. Dazhuang was influenced and began to doubt his wife, escalating the conflict between the couple. Meiling returned the bride price and wanted to divorce Dazhuang. Later, Meiling softened and reconciled with Dazhuang, but the sister-in-law gambled away Meiling's bride price and the mother's hard-earned money, losing it all and collapsing in shock into the hospital, triggering yet another crisis. Fortunately, Dazhuang and Meiling helped resolve it, and the sister-in-law was moved and changed her attitude. After the mother was discharged, the sister-in-law and Meiling competed to care for her, vying for the right to look after her through a contest. Meiling and Shufen both pulled out all the stops, and the family was full of joy and harmony. Everyone also came to understand the importance of family bonds and filial piety, and they raised a toast together in happiness.
