The Live-In Son-in-Law

For three years, Gu Yan has played the meek live-in son-in-law, but beneath the surface he is cunning and calculating. His wife, Luo Hanshuang, publicly humiliates him for their childless marriage. Gu Yan first wins over his widowed mother-in-law, Wen Shu, then is manipulated by his half-sister-in-law, Luo Lingxi, through aphrodisiacs and blackmail. After Luo Lingxi seizes the position of matriarch, Luo Hanshuang and Gu Yan join forces to strike back, ultimately exposing that the child is not of Gu Yan's bloodline and driving Luo Lingxi out. The title of matriarch returns to the rightful wife, while the true power belongs to the live-in son-in-law.
