A Good Wife

On New Year's Eve, Wei, newly promoted to department head, plans a romantic evening with his wife Fang Ting—until his colleague Xiao Shi shows up unannounced. Beneath his honest, unassuming facade, Xiao Shi hides a scheming nature, exploiting Wei's vanity to set his trap step by step and assaulting Fang Ting while Wei is away. As the night of the concert approaches, Xiao Shi's control and coercion escalate, and the oblivious Wei repeatedly pushes his wife toward danger with his own hands.
