Gambling Desire

In a late-night card sharp's game, the clatter of tiles can't drown out the heavy breathing—what's at stake is chips, and more: who gets wet first, who gets hard first. Deception wraps around desire, and beneath fake smiles they probe each other's depths. Whoever falls first gets devoured completely. Under the table it's all wet sounds; winning and losing stopped being about the cards long ago—it's about how things end in bed.
