Set against the backdrop of time travel, this tale weaves two parallel narratives around the legacy of Keemun black tea. In the late Qing Dynasty, Hu Linglong, disguised as a man, inherits the family business and faces her uncle's sabotage. Modern tea master Qiao Xin, after a fatal accident, finds her soul transported into a blood-red jade pendant and takes possession of Hu Linglong. Together, they navigate tea competitions, resist British merchants' oppression, and refine the tea-making process. Hu Linglong breaks gender barriers to create the signature Keemun aroma, while Qiao Xin helps her gain fame at a Shanghai tea gathering. Amidst family feuds and national turmoil, Hu Linglong finds love with Xu Zhinian of the Beiyang Fleet, staying true to the art of tea. When the jade pendant shatters, Qiao Xin returns to the modern era, only to be drawn back by a silver hairpin to aid Hu Linglong once more. Ultimately, Qiao Xin develops Linglong black tea in the present, safeguarding the industry's secrets and bringing Chinese tea culture to the world—a tribute to female empowerment, cultural heritage, and patriotic devotion.
