"Slack Off Together" is derived from the boys' slogan on the island, "Slack off on Yu Mountain together," so the concept of "slacking off" has multiple dimensions. The show not only showcases the wonderful time the boys spend together in private, but each episode also tells the story of their lives beyond their efforts to build the island in a more nuanced way. Each episode sets a life theme, under which the boys' scattered daily lives on Yushan Island are presented in a more relaxed and interesting manner, allowing the audience to see the process of the boys getting to know and becoming familiar with the sea, Yushan Island, the fishermen, and life on the island beyond the construction.
